Each match lasts 5 minutes against 15 computer-controlled bots. Collect scrap to grow, smash other bots, then swallow their wrecks to take their weapons. The highest score when time runs out wins.
Controls: drag on the left side of the screen to move; double-tap and hold there to sprint (sprinting costs points). Tap STRIKE (bottom right) to attack. When a red ! is aimed at you, STRIKE turns into PARRY. Tap DASH to dodge through a strike. Prefer three separate buttons? Tap Controls in the menu. Tap the mini-map to enlarge it.
Why did a bigger bot take me out in one hit? A hit from a bot of your form or higher knocks you out; smaller bots only chip your HP. Names are colored to warn you: red is bigger than you, orange is the same form, white is smaller.
What do the weapons do? The Hammer sweeps wide, the Knife is short and fast, the Spear thrusts far. Every strike uses all your mana, so wait for an enemy to miss, then rush in.
What are gold and trophies for? You earn gold and trophies by finishing matches. Spend gold in the Shop on robot parts, weapons and colors. Trophies unlock tougher arenas.
I left a match and got no gold. Gold is only awarded when you finish a match.
Will my progress move to a new phone? Progress is saved only on your device. It is not transferred to a new device.
How do I start over? Delete the app and install it again. This removes all saved progress and can't be undone.
Does the game need the internet? No. Scrap Bots works fully offline. All opponents are computer-controlled bots.
